Job Description

A private family in North Miami Beach, FL is seeking an experienced, hands-on Landscape Maintenance Gardener to maintain the grounds of a large private estate.  The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of plants, lawn care, and irrigation and is comfortable working outdoors year-round. We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of an established team.

Schedule : Full-Time, generally Monday-Friday. Flexibility for occasional weekends and holidays is required based on the family's and property's needs.

Compensation : $30–$35/hour + b enefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, three weeks of vacation, 10 paid holidays, and seven paid sick days annually.)

Responsibilities :

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, flowers, and outdoor areas
• Weed, prune, transplant, water, deadhead, mow, and perform general grounds upkeep
• Plant and maintain ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns
• Maintain walkways and outdoor hardscape
• Apply fertilizers and treatments safely
• Assist with minor pest management
• Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, edgers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools
• Monitor landscaping and irrigation needs
• Keep outdoor areas clean, organized, and well maintained
• Assist with additional property needs as requested

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional landscaping/gardening experience required
• Strong knowledge of plants, lawn care, and irrigation systems
• Experienced with landscaping tools and motorized equipment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding outdoor work
• Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida weather
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Team-oriented, professional, and flexible
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must successfully complete background and professional reference checks
